Come celebrate the season with a Christmas-themed cookie decorated class! Photos will come soon of the set, but it’s unique and nostalgic :). Class will begin at 3:30 pm at Natural Resources on Valencia Street. This class is good for all ability levels and you will leave with an adorable collection of Christmas-themed cookies, with varying detail options! Each ticket purchases one seat for the class. You will receive five full-sized cookies with all icing and decorating supplies, tools to take home, a recipe for royal icing, and 90 minutes (or so!) of relaxed instruction from a gal who taught herself how to decorate cookies. No stuffy professionals here–we are in it for fun, new skills, and sweet treats. We will have a bit of extra time after 90 minutes for you to finish decorating at your own pace.
This class is perfect for all levels of cookie decorators, from adults down to middle elementary school age, but if you think your younger child can handle decorating, they are welcome–they just need their own seat to participate and must be supervised by a parent/guardian. If you’re attending with an infant, Natural Resources has a space and changing area if your little one needs a break.
Please note that tickets cannot be cancelled; however, if you need to transfer your ticket to someone else, that is perfectly fine. Just shoot me an email at info@citygalbakes.com to let me know.

This gingerbread house kit is a big family activity! These are thick, large pieces of gingerbread, but if you’re patient and get them “glued” together with the provided royal icing, you’ll be rewarded with a big canvas for decorating! Kit will come with a front and back, two side walls and two scalloped roof cookies. You’ll also enjoy an assortment of candy, sprinkles, sugars and decorations to get you started with decorating (MORE than what is pictured!), seasonal piping icing colors, thick white icing to “glue” your pieces together when assembling, and a tips and tricks sheet. Assembled house is approximately 8.5″ tall, 7″ wide at the largest point and 7.5″ deep, with cookies that are almost 1/2″ without icing.
Please note: these are thick homemade gingerbread slabs–close to a half-inch thick! Construction gingerbread is baked hard intentionally but is edible. Use caution when letting little ones choose candies to eat as the assortment contains some hard pieces of classic Christmas candy. Candy pictured is an example; types will vary but we will provide a good amount for every kit!

**This kit will be made with natural food coloring, which is derived from botanicals (such as spirulina, purple sweet potato, paprika, etc). Natural food coloring is less stable than synthetics and may fade if exposed to sunlight or extreme temperatures. Naturals are also more expensive than synthetics which means the price of the items will always be slightly above the items made with regular food coloring. Colors will be more muted than those pictured. Sprinkles will also be natural sprinkles and different from those pictured.
